I can wear them as outerwear and, when going back and forth to the gym, I slip on warm pants and wear Heattech underneath, making it okay with just this one layer. In winter, I choose a larger size. I usually avoid softeners while washing, but for this fleece, I make an exception to keep it fluffy.
