  I purchased these for my recovery apparatus after rupturing my Achilles tendon. They are breathable, which is helpful. I was concerned about the area around the ankle touching the injured area, but I think I'll get used to it. It would be nice if the end of the ankle part were a bit softer.

  The seam at the front of the toe started to fray after the second use! It wasn't tight, and I wasn't pulling on it hard. It’s the part of the toe that seems to take the least pressure on a sock. I've worn many socks before, but I've never had one fray in that area. I bought three pairs, and all have the same issue, so it might not be an exaggeration to say this is a defective product. One of the good things about UNIQLO was that they offered reliable quality and longevity. What has happened to recent UNIQLO's products?

  In the past few years, I've only purchased this type for summer. The fabric is thin and breathable, and it doesn’t feel too constricting. There are styles with and without slip resistance, but the ones with slip resistance are slightly thinner. I recommend both.
