  I thought I was purchasing the same item as the previous model, but the silhouette and material feel entirely different. The previous model had a nice sheen, a relaxed fit, and while being thin, it felt luxurious, but I can’t feel those qualities in the current model. What surprised me more was the price. What used to be on sale for 1,290 (990) yen to 2,990 yen has now increased to 3,990 yen. I think this price is high for the quality. While international UNIQLO sometimes significantly reduces prices in the off-season, it feels like discounts in Japan are minor even for off-season items. Also, despite registering for restock notifications for the previous model, I was directed to a different product page (this one) when accessing through the notification email. The mechanism to lead one to a product with a different number and price is very confusing. Additionally, reviews for the previous and current models are displayed on the same page, making it hard to tell which review belongs to which model. Personally, I wish they would relist the previous model instead of the current version.

  The fabric isn’t fluffy but rather smooth. I think it has good breathability, so it doesn’t feel stuffy even in current weather. I want other colors that are out of stock, so I've registered for a restock notification. I hope they will be restocked.

  I've lived in Okinawa for 10 years, but the workplace's air conditioning is set below 25°C in summer, and even with heating in winter, the 'muggy feeling' is uncomfortable. As the uniform is short-sleeved, I can’t work without this merino crew neck cardigan. I alternate between white and black, and I've purchased many iterations without losing count. For me, the feel, lack of bulk, and overall perfection make it ideal.

  The shape is very lovely and elevates your look just by wearing it. It’s less prone to pilling, and it seems like it’ll last in good condition for a long time. The thickness is slightly much for the upcoming season, but I think it’s perfect for cooling down inside.

  I feel like the body length is shorter than previous versions. I noticed this in other products too, and I had given up thinking it's a recent trend. Since this is an older product and this is my fourth time buying it, I thought it should be fine. I read in reviews that it's better to go for a larger size, so I got one size up, but it’s still short. It would be good if pants offered length options or if they specify the body length. By the way, those of my age prefer longer lengths.
