  Despite being labeled for sports, after just using them once for hiking, the white socks became extremely dirty, and there were pilling and fraying. They became unusable on days when I might take my shoes off. I've purchased various items from UNIQLO, but this is the first product I've bought that I feel I wasted my money on. I think you can only use them in situations where you don't walk or push hard at all. At least, I would avoid the white ones. The comfort is good, though.
