The 22 fit perfectly. There might be some room if the waist stretches. The 23 felt like it would need a belt, so I chose the 23 based on what the store staff said—the silhouette from the back looked better. There's enough room to tuck in T-shirts or shirts, and even though they seemed wide, they look surprisingly sharp, so I'm really happy with them. I feel happy about buying these jeans as they were a great deal with limited color sizes.
