I think this might be due to the denim processing and color, but the lighter colors lose their straight drop after several washes. The 68 blue and 69 navy maintain their straight shape, so it likely has to do with the color choice. I'd love to see the model in 09 black added as well. If it becomes available, I will buy several pairs...

It's loose and comfortable to wear. Recently, it seems UNIQLO has been recommending balloon pants, and when I search for wide pants, I can only find balloon or baggy styles. As a not-so-fashionable dude, I have some resistance to wearing them casually, so I ended up getting straight jeans instead. I also noticed that currently, only JWA designs show up in the search for straight jeans. Overall, they're easy to wear, and I love the colors, but I feel like the pocket depths are too narrow? I've never experienced this before, and it's difficult to put my wallet or phone in the pocket. That's a downside.

I weigh 45 kg with a small waist, so the women's 28-inch was too loose, but the men's 28-inch was just right even with three thin layers inside! For those with a small waist, men's jeans might be an option! I would have preferred a bit slimmer thigh area.

Since the length was long, I had it hemmed. To keep costs down, I opted for machine stitching. I like the subtle mark on the pockets. When I wear it at the waist, it feels loose around the legs.
