It's a sturdy knit. I thought it felt a bit small when putting it on, but once I wore it, it fit just right. I love the side slits.

The knitted vest is hand-knitted and tightly woven. There were brown and blue options, but I chose blue because I bought a cashmere cardigan in brown. There's a slit on both sides, and the back is slightly longer. The neckline is nicely fitted. It works well with denim, chinos, gray, and black. I love the knits from Comptoir des Cotonniers. I chose size S considering the length.

When I bought it online, I only checked the size chart, which made sizing quite a challenge for me. Should I wear it like the model with a perfect fit, or layer it? I usually wear size L in UNIQLO, but I ended up purchasing size XL for a more relaxed fit that I can wear over shirts or dresses during the season.

I loved last year’s V-neck vest, so I decided to repeat my purchase this year without hesitation. Compared to last year’s design, this one is more compact overall, which I personally like, but with the crew neck, the itchiness at the neck made me go one size up from last year. I love both the color and design, so I plan to wear it with a cut-and-sew once it gets a bit cooler.
