The school doesn't recommend hoods, so I looked for an outer that doesn't have a hood, is easy to wear with a backpack, is easy to move in, and is warm. Every year I liked the UNIQLO fleece and bought more, but I was looking for a jacket that was suitable for school that wasn't fleece. I found out it was being sold since I had been interested for a while, so I went to the store right away. For my 9-year-old, who is 137 cm and weighs 34 kg, I tried sizes 140, 150, and 160. Size 140 fit perfectly, but I could see the wrists when extending my arms. Size 150 was a little big, but the silhouette was still fine, and I couldn't see the wrists when extending my arms, so it seems it could work for next year. Size 160 was such that I couldn’t see my hands even without extending my arms. Folding the sleeves twice is fine, and it looks good despite being longer. So, I purchased size 150. Furthermore, I tried it on as a mother, and it was light, easy to move in, and cute. I bought size 160 for myself. I'm 161 cm, average build, and I thought it looked cute buttoned up with the collar standing. It’s not tight! It seems there was a bit of stiffness due to its water-repellent nature, but I didn’t mind when wearing it, and I’m satisfied as we could buy functional everyday use outerwear for parent and child at a good price!
